Community Action Network (CAN) trainings are great way to plug into the community and learn about our civic responsibility.  This free workshop will showcase the pivotal role that we have as people of faith in Hawai'i and why it is time to arise and unite for change.  It will also provide attendees with the foundational tools necessary to enhance the growing network of people across Hawaii who want to shape the future of Hawaii by celebrating LIFE, FAMILY and RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.

  • Learn why the silence of Christians in Hawaii has had a devastating effect on Hawai's families and the future of our keiki with regard to LIFE, FAMILY & RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. (Presented by Eva Andrade, Executive Director, Hawaii Family Forum)
  • Hear what individuals, pastors and churches can legally do to participate in the public policy arena so you can understand, and clearly articulate, why the the myth of separation of church and state must be challenged by people of faith. (Presented by Jim Hocbherg, Esq., President, Hawaii Family Advocates)
  • See what happens when people of faith actively participate in the electoral process and how this will ultimately benefit the State of Hawaii and the future of our island home!  Learn about the iVOTE Hawaii effort and be inspired by the phenomenal outpouring of people in the faith community who want to make a difference and are rising to the challenge of voter participation! (Presented by Allen Cardines, Jr., Director of Community and Church Relations, Hawaii Familiy Forum)
